On March 29, 2021, the establishment ceremony of the Chess Association and the first course of the association were held at the Tsinghua Affiliated High School。All club members and parent representatives participated in this activity。Li Hong, Chen Miao and Wang Tian, director of the Student Development Center, were invited to the event。

The chess club was established under the care of the school and the support of teacher Wang Tian, and specially hired full-time chess club coaches to train students. The purpose of the club is to educate people, cultivate one's body with chess, cultivate morality with chess and meet friends with chess。

The activities of this semester

1. Based on the current chess students and students who are interested in chess, we will set up a chess interest group, which will carry out activities once or twice a week to cultivate a group of chess elites。Through vivid explanations and games, help students with zero foundation to improve their interest in learning chess and master basic moves;Help students who already have a foundation to improve their skills。

2. This semester, we plan to hold a campus chess competition, encourage the class to hold a league, and select the chess individual star and the national star class (divided into Grade A and Grade B).。

3. Set up the school chess team to participate in the Beijing Chess Competition。

4. Encourage students to communicate with others and take the initiative to find opponents for practice。Have the opportunity to find a brother school to learn。

5. At the end of this semester, praise and reward students with good performance in all aspects to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning。
